Description
Seeking a new home for my barn owl fullsuit! She was completed in 2022 but has only been worn a handful of times since then, and I would love to see her go to someone who will use her more. She's optimized for performance, sewn with a variety of sturdy How Fabric furs, minky and fleece, and has a light build with feet and head (with moving jaw) based on upholstery foam. She has been meticulously washed and brushed after every wear, and comes with freshly re-soled outdoor feet so that she's in peak condition for her next adventure.
SUMMARY OF FEATURES:
Head is a balaclava and foam base with a moving jaw attached by elastic. No head size measurement necessary. Following eyes based in buckram offer generous ventilation and wide field of vision.
Bodysuit closes with a hidden zipper in the back, and features chest padding for a more natural avian shape.
Wing sleeves snap onto the bodysuit and can be separated for easier cleaning. They feature hand escapes that snap closed.
Tail attaches with belt loops.
Feet are built on a shoe with outdoor EVA foam soles.
This suit CAN be worn alone if you're an experienced suiter, but for best results, I highly recommend having a handler to help with the hand escapes, sleeves and zipper.
SIZING:
I made her custom-fit to myself. I am 5'5" and 115
pounds. My bust/waist/hip measurements are 33-30-38 inches and she fits
snugly on me.
The feet were built on a women's US size 8 shoe. I can either re-sole the feet leaving the existing shoe, or use a new pair of shoes of a size of the buyer's request. It will take me about 1 additional week to remove the existing shoes and incorporate a new pair of shoes into the existing design.
TERMS:
Do whatever you want with the suit and character after purchase. Wear as-is, make design modifications, rename, etc. My only request is to please not use the name "Aki" (which I've used for her in the past) to minimize confusion!
Other than the changes to the shoe listed in the sizing section, this PRE-OWNED suit is sold AS-IS. No modifications or fixes will be offered once the suit is shipped out.
Suit ships from Washington state, USA. I can have her packed and ready to go 1 week after purchase if no adjustments are necessary, and 2 weeks after purchase if the adjustments in the sizing section are needed.
